We were wrong.  Not lied to.  Here is a fact: the military and others advised that withdrawing from Iraq would leave a void.  Obama and Clinton chose to do it, anyway.  Fact.

Regardless, we entered into a war for no reason.  9/11 happened and there were few hearings on how it could have been allowed to happen by the Bush administration.  It is clear that this Benghazi nonsense is purely politically motivated and, I agree, is disgusting.  [/quote]

Information is a good thing!! Sometimes it even bites partisanship in the ass.

Few hearings? There were MASSIVE reviews including every agency that had any connection to any information and any part. It changed the whole intel community and how they cooperate. Which was one of the biggest problems that led up to 9/11...they weren't talking to each other as they should have.

And Bush didn't allow it to happen. Did Clinton allow the Cole? Hell, the plans and procedures for 9/11 began in the Clinton admin. And please don't come back with that 8/6/200 memo crap. It's in the report.
