What act? He hides his face from the camera whenever he has something sweet to say - and fails. He tries to whisper and not be heard by the camera when saying he loves her - and fails. They thought turning off the mics would give them some privacy and that failed. Everything he's tried to cover up has been put on display. If that's an act, or an attempt to be some one he's not, well it's a pretty poorly executed one, because we're seeing everything he hoped to keep private.

Conversely, Shawn actually did manage to keep his "off camera" overnight hush hush and actually, really off camera. It was only revealed when he choose to let it be - he's the one who seems to know how to navigate the situation. He just lost his cool and decided not to in the last episode, but Nick couldn't even pull that off if he wanted to - he just doesn't have the skills to get away and not get caught. [/quote]
