It seems prospective students must come from one of 6 local Fairfax middle schools. So you have 6 middle schools in the area preparing students for TJ. They're great schools, tried and true,and they're FREE! Why would I clamor for Basis again????

First of all, the article is from 2011.  Secondly, prospective students must come from six school [b][i]districts[/i][/b]  meaning counties or cities- not middle schools.[/quote]

many kids at TJ are miserable.  Kids who opt to stay at BASIS DC for high school know what they are getting into, and it does not include staying up til 2:30 am with their parents helping them with crazy projects.  Our kid is at the high school at BASIS DC.  We would never send them to TJ.  Too large and too many stressed out kids AND parents and that is not limited to Asians of any type by any means...[/quote]
