We are happy with the center our younger child attends -- great teachers/programs/peer influence.... but, if it ended next year, we know that our child would still be fine at the base school.  Would be really nice if the base school offered more programs/advanced classes for kids, but even if they didn't, our child would do perfectly fine there.

I don't know why y'all get into these circular arguments on DCUM about whether AAP should be stopped or not. No one here has the power to make that decision.  So what if you win your philosophical battle here?!  If you have an issue with AAP, then take it to the people who can do something about it -- the school board.

I get so tired of every... single... thread becoming a battle of wills for shutting down AAP.  It's here.  Get over it or take your arguments to someone who might care.[/quote]
