At 45 he was already a father, not with this wife as a co-parent, but he was already a father. As far as I know, there isn't another definition of "first time" other than "never having done it before". And the original question was how old were you when you became a father or how old was your husband when he first became a father (go back and read the very short OP). So the only way there could be two answers like this was for it to be two different men. So, either the PP was a man referring to himself and his husband or was a woman who had two husbands. But I see now that the person who answered just didn't understand the OP's question (and apparently still doesn't).[/quote]
