And DD has made Gen Ed friends because of her school based scout troop, and neighborhood friends, and school extracurriculars.

In our experience (with a sample size of only 2 schools) this is not an issue of bad intentions or a desire to segregate the kids, but rather the logistics of running a large center with multiple AAP classes. [/quote]
