Not at all, 0:20 PP! Your daughter is lucky to have a supportive parent who will help nurture her gifts, and I wish her much luck. All right I can answer some of the other questions before I begin my day, as I am enjoying my early morning coffee. I will probably not reply to this thread again till afternoon or so. To answer the question about distinguishing the frauds from the real deal, that's a great question. It offends and disgusts me personally when I hear of frauds and scammers taking advantage of people and exploiting both them and the integrity of my profession. Any time you hear the following, it's a fake: - I have a 100% accuracy rate! - I see an ancient family curse on you, it's going to continue to ruin your life unless you pay me $1000 to remove it - Where do you live? - Is there a [person/situation/problem] in your life right now? - Telling you that you need to check in on them regularly or else your life will go off the rails - Tell you the future is set in stone...unless you pay an extra fee and they can fix that future for you I'd also say that any overtly fanciful names should be a dead giveaway, but actually I've met one or two genuine psychics who were just a big wacky and eccentric and they enjoyed having fanciful, strange professional names. So you never know! Also, don't balk at requests for your date of birth; this is actually information that some psychics really need to connect to you. The stronger their connection to you, the more accurate and revealing their reading will be. Not every genuine psychic operates the same way. Some don't need more than your first name. Some need a photo. It's not that we can't read you off of almost nothing, but you're definitely not going to get your money's worth! The stronger our connection to you, the clearer the picture we get. However having said that, usually a real psychic will not need a lot from you beyond your name, and sometimes they might ask for your date of birth. They also will have an attitude of wanting to empower you by laying out all your alternatives on the table and explaining how each choice will lead to a different outcome. They should give your perspective and hope. Even if a real psychic is a grumpy, not very personable individual, they'll give you the bad news as well as the good news as a way to empower you by giving you a clear picture. Of course some real psychics just hate people and are cynical, for whatever reason; try to avoid them, even if they have a real gift. A psychic is meant to be a guide, and you want one who has compassion. As for astrology, yes it can be helpful but only if you get your particular chart drawn up. Just knowing that you're a Pisces and reading the newspaper's general prediction for Pisces isn't going to get you anywhere. It's waaaaay too general. Sit down with a certified astrologer with your date of birth and location of birth and, if you have it, your time of birth. Get a personalized chart done and ask the astrologer to explain your chart. This is actually something that I've seen my Chinese and Indian customers do pretty frequently and they often would come to me to ask for in-depth corroboration of what their astrologer's chart says. The charts corresponded with my psychic readings of their possibly future life paths. I would not use astrology except in this way. General monthly or yearly reading for your zodiac sign aren't ever going to help you. Anyone who wants to really benefit from astrology should get a personalized chart made. Otherwise it's a waste of time. I wish I could recommend readers in the DC, VA or MD area but I only know one psychic here and I would be outed (I did not work as a psychic in this area - that was many years ago and in a different city). Again, I strongly encourage people to look online. I wish the Internet had been around this much when I first started as a psychic because it really is a great resource for separating the scammers from the real psychics. There are ripoff reports and scammer reports now so it is much easier to find a psychic who has been proven genuine. Pets do have souls, and sometimes they reincarnate or sometimes they stay on the other side and help you! Animal souls are less evolved than ours, but they have lessons to teach us (unconditional love and loyalty, for example) and lessons of their own to learn. I am not a pet psychic but of course I do have the ability to read an animal's thoughts and life just like a human's. They have personalities that are very present though they are not as strongly individualized as ours are. I hope everyone has a good day today! I will be back when I can.
