My closest stop is very close- 2 houses away and I can see/hear the bus pull up so that's nice. I wouldn't let a kinder kid walk alone if it's more than a block and if it's against the rules, you just can't do it. 2 mornings a week my kids have to be at school early for a musical lesson and I drive them and on those days I just get up 20 minutes earlier so I am showered and done before we leave at the earlier time. The bus is so much easier for me.[/quote]
