To Get Demographics of a neighborhood, get the information for elementary schools in Schools-at-a-glance http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/sharedaccountability/glance/ http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/regulatoryaccountability/glance/currentyear/schools/02770.pdf This link is to Flora Singer ES. You can tell the percent of each race with this. You will have to pick out the actual names of elementary schools because it is by name, not city. But there are other ways to get names of ES in Silver Spring (or wherever). This doesn't tell you the makeup of the neighbor, but if most of the children go to the public school, it gets pretty close. But there are some districts where most of the local children go to religious school, so the demographics of the school will not represent the neighborhood. Kemp Mill comes to mind. There are many diverse ES in Silver Spring, and probably other places in Montgomery County.
