That's America, baby.  Our military is voluntary.  And many people who are in it also benefit from that service.  Of course some do not.  But, we are all free to judge them for their missteps, veteran or not.  Just like I judged the strapping young man who parked in the handicapped spot to go into the ABC store a couple weeks ago.  No tags on his car..  Yep, I judged him for not following the rules like everyone else.  He knew no one would call him on it.

It's the citizens' right to speak freely, including judgment, whether you like it or not.  And it is that freedom, and others, that people blind with uber-patriotism trot out every 5 minutes.  [/quote]
