I don't wish Israel would go away but I do wish the US would not turn a blind eye to some of the more outrageous things that Israel does ranging from its brutal treatment of Palestinians to the continuous expropriation of land for settlements. A more even-handed approach by the US including a willingness to take punitive action against Israel when it flagrantly breaks the law would go a long way in the US being viewed as an "honest broker" by the Palestinians and other Arabs.

How about [b]blind support for Palestine? [/b]Yesterday paper said we provide 400 million a year in aid? Does it occur to people we support both countries and are trying to move a peace process forward. Kidnapping killing teens, building expensive tunnels full of syringes and army uniforms probably did not help the pal cause.[/quote]
