Read about ISIS history, how it started and what they are fighting for. They are able radicalize young western people, some of whom have identity crisis, just like young Americans join gangs, do drugs, get drugs, you will find some young Muslims joining these groups because they give them a sense of identity and belonging. Radicalization is an individualized process so [b]I can't paint them all with the same brush, but most of them are young men and women looking to belong to a group/movement that gives them a purpose.[/b] There are many underlying reasons, and this is just one of them .[/quote]
