NP - I am at RP and I know of at least 4 people that were able to get a COSA to Cold Spring.  1 for behavioral issues, 1 for transportation issues (they could walk to CS),  2 for daycare issues.  All but 1 were approved the first time. 3 of them were awhile ago when the schools weren't so lopsided and 2 went on to JW and didn't apply for Cabin John since it is a haul.  Another went to private school.

If RP wasn't so crowded, I firmly believe the school is better.  More room, a separate gym and cafeteria instead of an all-purpose room, and the most important is no open classrooms.  They are awful at CS.

They make it absolutely clear you do not get a pass into middle school, especially if your issues was transportation or daycare.  No one is trying to get their way into Wootton and since they don't go to Frost (which they should) but go far away to Cabin John, it is not ideal for parents anyway.  [/quote]
