Is the departure to leave Montessori in general or Logan in particular?
I think in general. I'm the pp who said my kid went through the entire program through 4th grade (current 9th grader) and I remember several of our friends back then left after primary or soon after starting elementary. It's definitely not for everyone (parent or kid) but there are many kids who thrive in that environment. My current 9th grader was fine going all the way through. I pulled my younger son after his first year in the elementary class because he was just not thriving in the environment. He did well in his primary class but as he got older we learned that he needed a lot more structure and routine than Montessori offers. It's like any other school, it may or may not be a good fit for your kid, doesn't mean it's a bad school.
