Sorry - hit submit too soon.  I'm one of the PPs that is being bashed.  I just said it is hard to care given that they are pimping out the pregnancy 3-4 weeks in.  That seems imprudent at best and silly at worst.  I don't hate her or begrudge her being pregnant or think she doesn't deserve it; I just don't care.  I don't watch the show, and I don't find the fact that a 23-year-old can get pregnant easily to be front-page news.  I do think it sucks when you try for years at the same age and people who take it for granted have it come to them easy.  It isn't anything against her or anything about me, it just brings it to mind, so I sympathized with the original poster.  For example, if you had an illness and struggled with it for years and someone else got cured after a week, you'd be happy for them (or not care) but probably a little bummed for yourself at the same time.  That isn't some psycho selfish response - it is human nature.
