[/quote] Also, a lot of the extreme stratification in the DC area is based on race. And race is very gradually coming to mean less. So white people like me happily spend way less money to live in a traditionally black neighborhood and feel just fine there. We feel fine sending the kids to schools that are majority black.[/quote]
