[/quote] This makes so much sense to me! When looking into surrogacy in both the US and India it seemed to us that more things could go wrong and more issues arise in the US than India. The laws here are crazy and differ by state and if u move or surrogate moves then it can be a problem etc... And adoption is wacky here too. It's getting more difficult to adopt internationally and wait times are much longer than they used to be and countries suddenly close their adoption programs. And domestic adoption is just a complete crap shoot. When you really weigh out all the variables, the risk associated with Indian surrogacy doesn't seem so high[/quote]
