I don't think it's so much jealousy about Harvard students as it is the inability of some to recognize that Harvard students don't hold a monopoly over intelligence.  There are other college students on Jeopardy who are holding their own against their competitors exclusive of Harvard.

Harvard is a great school.  But it certainly is not the only game in town as evidenced by its excellent competitors on Jeopardy.

But...but...I don't think that most rational, intelligent people think Harvard (or any other university) has a monopoly on intellect.

The Jeopardy winner was from...where..Vanderbilt? A & M? Who would think that means their schools have that monopoly? The same type of fool that thinks that by not winning Harvard is somehow inferior.

Your point gets at what many in this thread are saying: IVY ENVY is REAL! Why else would there be an assumption that "some" think Harvard has a monopoly on intellect?[/quote]
