I understood that if you get into, for example, your 5th choice you remain on the waiting list at schools number 1-4. If they do it that way if you get picked toward the beginning of the lottery you will get good numbers at every school, so even if you don't get into your number 1 choice you'll have a great waitlist number on it.[/quote]
