Based on what I've read, I feel sorry for BioDad and suspect his daughter is exaggerating his flaws and the real problem is a huge cultural barrier.  But I also suspect that her mother and stepfather are exaggerating the flaws of a depressed teenager living in an unstable home environment.

While I do not consider them abusive (arrangements were made for her care) I do believe, based upon what I've read in the papers, that they wanted to create the ideal little family and got rid of her as an obstacle to that.  They also seem to have nonexistent morals and terrible character -- and their daughter reflects that upbringing and the family values they instilled in her.  [/quote]
