(No dog in the AAP fight.)[/quote] btw, am sick of seeing this drop in the bucket argument as far as busses are concerned. would prefer to see some numbers because I don't believe it. any cost savings on the education has to do with a more homogenous make up of the class -- less need for special aides, ESOL, etc. because by definition a large number of kids in this program (not the gifted ones) just do their work and don't need the extra help or assistance. I think it is false savings that has a detrimental effect on general ed schools actually making them more costly. [/quote]
