[/quote] Is your child by any chance moving from U9 to U10? My DS has been playing for a number of years and I remember that, and U10 to U11, as the years when the most cuts were made. It seemed that a lot of good players hadn't been ready to try travel at younger ages, so the pool suddenly expanded, and there was a lot of reshuffling.
