Well the way I do it is I wipe first with toilet paper till everything is wiped off, then I use water to rinse my bum.  I don't dip my hand in the water,my hand is on my bum as if I was still wiping with toilet paper, but sans toilet paper but with water and To describe the process, suppose you have some dirt on your hand and you wipe it till all the dirt comes off, then you rinse your hand with water, same process  :P [/quote]

It's Sunnah to only use your left hand for that, right?  And the right hand is for eating.[/quote]
