The value of the house as an asset. And the mortgage on your house as a liability. When you sell, the equity would be in the form of cash, but shouldn't change (in theory, but of course there are fees to selling and you have to guess at value of your house, the price when you sell would be differnt, but the overall net worth should still be pretty darn close before sale and after).[/quote]
