...and FCPS had to appease the "noisy pushy" Town of Vienna Freedom Hill/Thoreau/Madison parents with children currently in school who adamantly want to stay at Freedom Hill and find redistricting to Vienna ES problematic.  The FCPS public meeting at Freedom Hill showed that the Town of Vienna parents directly affected by this proposed change are evenly split, both sides holding very strong feelings for or against the proposal.  The cluster superintendent could have just as easily said, "No," without administrative pupil placement. He gave you what you needed, the opportunity to enroll at Vienna ES; as one leadership guru says, "Don't the the perfect be the enemy of the good."[/quote]
