You try walking the streets of DC in heels and come back and tell me how much fun it is. [/quote] I am the OP and work full-time in the District, so I have experience with that, as well as with chasing around 2 kids. It is possible to find comfortable heels that you can walk in. I stand by my opinion that flats look terrible on people unless they have skinny calves and ankles. And I also stand by my opinion that they look juvenile on people over the age of 30. I will concede that some flats look ok if you're wearing a wide-legged pant.[/quote]
