Furthermore, I read somewhere (probably on this site) that 40% of kids in 2nd grade were classified as "gifted" based on the testing MCPS administers in 2nd grade. So why would a pp think that it's unlikely that 23% might have taken the HGC test? Again, nothing really to lose.[/quote]
