[/quote] Weird way to read my post. I didn’t say that at all. I was merely disclosing my bias that I obviously like Virginia. I grew up near Richmond not here, but I honestly don’t understand the benefits of choosing MD or DC to live if your job requires you to be in this area. My DH (not from Virginia) agreed with me so it works for us. Our friends in DC and MD are all paying way more for college than we are, and also dealing with the logistics of kids much farther away.
