Many years ago my son's team was placed a tournament bracket below what they should have been and one of their opponents was clearly overmatched. At about 5-0 the coach pulled a player, but it was still uneven. At about 10-0 he told the players they needed to connect 50 passes before going to goal. But . . . having the kids count out the number of connected passes was probably even more embarrassing for the other team. Same thing when you tell a team not to score and they possess the ball like a game of keep away. It's just hard. [/quote]
