Got back to Sydney and deposited him with the program director who thankfully was able to contact his parents and get him back to the US with a parent I believe. I think about him a lot and hope he is doing ok. But yeah not a very fun trip. Oh and this was the same week the nightclub in Bali got bombed and apparently someone in our group had told the program we were going to Bali for spring break so at least one of our families (mine) spent about a day thinking I’d probably been bombed in Bali since I didn’t have a cellphone back then to call them.
