every year like clockwork but parents never wise up. some parents are still gullible enough to think pre academy 1, 2 and red offers haven't gone out and will start to scramble and complain when their daughter gets a white or blue offer[/quote]

Question: Shouldn't ASA Red players all be good enough to be on their Academy team? I understand if they pick up one or two great outside players, but if not all the ASA top players are not making the Academy team, something is wrong. [/quote]

ASA Red is no longer the top team in any age group. They have Pre-Academy 1 and 2 ahead of that now. Pre-Academy 1 and 2 go down to one ECNL team at U13. The Red team becomes the ECNL-RL team with the leftover Pre-Academy girls and some of the better Red girls. [/quote]
