What makes you think everyone found out the perpetrator?  It hasn’t been reported in the press and I have no idea who it is.  Do you know if they found any guns at his house?   That would affect my view of the situation but I continue to think this kid needs a lot of mental health support.  Not adult jail.  [/quote]

DS at a different MCPS HS told me some news he heard about this boy that is incredibly disturbing. I don’t know if it’s true but if it is, this is beyond juvenile services. He should be charged as an adult. I don’t know why the police aren’t releasing more facts about the investigation. It would quell the rumors if they are untrue. I do feel very sorry for his parents. Can we not speculate on here? Talk to one of your neighbors who has been informed by MCPD or MCPS regarding the current status. He’s locked up right now and not a threat. [/quote]
