To answer your questions: the roommate Jennifer became my roommate because her roommate felt she was too quiet and didn't party enough, and I felt my roommate partied too much in my room. So all four of us agreed the two would switch. She was VERY quiet - had one friend. The AA guys I see working may be taking care of someone other than themselves, or may not be - we have no way of knowing. Regardless though, I'm not seeing black guys out and about with their kids.  I see more white adults with black kids (my guess is adoption, but don't really know for sure). Of course I use manners when asking someone for help. The reality is, there are lots of parts of the country where there aren't a lot of black people. San Francisco shoves almost all the black people in the Bayview/Hunter's Point neighborhoods, and other than that you'd have to go across the Bay to Oakland to see some color. In SF most everyone is white, Asian, or South American. [/quote]
