You have not been paying into taxes the way you pay a car loan. We pool all of our taxes and give out the benefits evenly. Did you think you would get nicer roads or better trash collection or a shinier DMV if you paid more taxes? No. You actually could choose to rent a tiny studio apartment and you would still have access to roads and trash collection and the DMV, because that is how societies work. [/quote]
