Well if Republicans don't like it, they are welcome to pass anti-gerrymandering legislation the next time the Democrats introduce such legislation in Congress.  But they won't, because they love themselves some good voter suppression. [/quote]
One of the first pieces of legislation in 2027 the Democrats need to bring to the floor is a simple anti-gerrymandering /independent redistricting bill. No riders, no amendments, just a clean bill. Even if Democrats don’t take back the Senate they can keep bringing these bills up and pat Republicans on the record to be for gerrymandering.

Until it is a federal law there’s no reason Democrats should be fighting with one hand tied behind their back.[/quote]
