Blue Ridge is full of academically subpar athletic scholarship boys; they are heavily recruited since athletics are the only standout at Blue Ridge.  The teachers are mediocre, and the annual turnover is substantial. The school has a major drug and alcohol problem as well as bullying of the younger boys.  Your son would get a much better education at Langley.[/quote]

We found the Blue Ridge campus to be in disrepair.  The dorm buildings were poorly kept the bathrooms were totally unexceptable.  The student center smelled of mold.  Our son chose Woodberry Forest. It is even closer to Fairfax.  If you don't go boarding, I would stay in Langley.[/quote]
