[/quote] It isn’t cheap to do so- and you still need to check the policies. Some will insure you to cancel for any reason, but if the location was already a certain level of risk level prior to or at the time of booking, they may not cover you. People like to throw around “you should have gotten travel insurance” but most of them have never had to read the policy of filed a claim. People find comfort in buying it and I do too on certain occasions- but I think people need to go in with eyes open. I’d be interested in people who have done so and can share exactly what they bought to cancel for domestic unrest or to a destination already with travel advisories. [/quote]
