The connections are made by the player by reaching out to coaches, sending film that gets their attention, all in order to see them play in a game at one of the showcases. The college coach may want to get the club’s feedback on a player but clubs protect their reputation and aren’t going to oversell anyone. You need to prove it on the pitch, at a college showcase, where the invited college coach is there to see you play. [/quote]
