Wow, what an ignorant statement. Yes, the Potomac was already polluted. But it’s far from dead. It’s home to countless fish and waterfowl, for example. Anyone hiking among the Potomac can see these critters. [/quote]

Pollution and run-off from the Trump National Golf Course in Loudoun County killed all the fish and animals in the river in 2017. It’s been a dead river ever since. No fish, no life of any kind.

This is absolutely untrue. I hate Trump and all things MAGA but I walk along the Potomac 3-4x a week on Windy Run in Arlington and see fish, birds and other wildlife every single time. I’ve been doing this for 15 years. [/quote]
