[/quote] It's the taboo. There's no way to say you regret your family size without basically saying you wish one or more of your kids didn't exist, which is terrible. But sometimes people absolutely realize that it was a mistake to have more children, and that it had a negative impact on everyone. My parents had two children too many. They know it, we know it. I'm one of the "too many" kids. I genuinely don't take it personally -- I know it's not my fault. It's just the reality. And my parents know it too. But no one ever says it in so many words.[/quote]
