Students were not told about the incident. Victim’s parents gave permission for school to share what happened to their son, so this was not a matter of respecting someone’s privacy. A student died and HHS considers it as no big deal without even looking internally at what role it played or if protocols need to change. The principal who has left this week to lead an elementary school failed. [/quote]
