It's a bigger school and feels bigger. And because Latin is lottery, there are many less academically gifted students. There is no requirement of aptitude or enthusiasm for studying Latin or anything else. And plenty of people at Latin aren't there for the Latin. They're there because it's a good school and they can lock down a high school path for their family and not have to deal with selective admissions public schools.[/quote]
