Michigan’s academics are every bit as good as those other schools. And don’t crap on in state kids. My husband went to Michigan from Pioneer HS. He graduated with honors. Look at Michigan’s department rankings, as an indicator of faculty and research quality. They’re ranked as high or higher than Northwestern and Duke in nearly every department. [/quote]
