Ummm there was an open and transparent process. Skyview and western were top 2. The students, you know the people the schools actually serve, picked Skyview. Google it. Or don’t. It doesn’t really matter. [/quote]

No student poll really means anything here when it’s still up in the air as to who will end up attending the school.

There’s a long tradition of community residents and the school board picking the name of a new school and the students actually slated to attend the school picking the mascot.  But I guess we can ignore that since Reid desperately wants something with Space Camp connotations.  [/quote]
