This doesn't make much sense - presumably anyone applying to the school thinks it's worthwhile or else they wouldn't apply. And if you think people are questioning the value of your school, you should want to *increase* the number of people who support it, not focus on the same few families.

I started my own bootstrapped business while attending an Ivy, graduated, and have never obtained any meaningful benefit from my Ivy degree - none of the critical deals that made that business happen relied on any Ivy-related connections or indeed on the counterparties even knowing I went there.[/quote]
