Anyone know if you are compared to grade level peers or math level peers? 5th grader taking 6th grade math or 6th grader taking 7th grade math?
Grade level national norm peers. It’s really VERY unhelpful for kids in advanced math. I really wish there was a way to look at the percentiles 1) with FCPS norms and 2) for students taking the same course.
They don't want to show how many gened kids outscored the level 4 kids ;)
?? We can see all of the scores for all kids in the grade level, gen Ed and advanced math. Nobody’s hiding anything. Anybody in gen Ed who is scoring in line with the advanced math kids is likely also going to get referred for advanced math. There are certainly some full time AAP kids who struggle due to being new to advanced math, or inappropriate placement. I don’t think anyone would argue with that.
