You wipe with that toilet paper. It's not ideal, but it's clean. The problem with tampons is the tampon itself provides an environment for bad bacteria to grow and absorb the healthy bacteria and natural lubrication in the vagina that protects from infections. The cups and discs are made out of silicone that is non-porous and don't promote bacterial growth in the same way. But you should always use the option that works better for you. Cups and discs don't work for everyone.[/quote]
