It costs me $200/week to pay for after care for my own children so I can remediate your child after school for free. It is something I do out of the kindness of my heart. I’m not rich either.

I concur with this teacher, my DS has been using peer tutoring for years. Not for Math, but for writing, he's bad at it. I can't afford "a real tutor", so any help he gets from school, albeit his peers, is a huge, HUGE blessing. There are also sessions during Learn he can go to, returns and what not. Tell them to use their time wisely. If he misses a club meeting or two, he'll survive. [/quote]
