I agree. Kamala's silence is deafening. She's a no for me, and I was all in on her.
She hasn't been silent at all in fact she spoke out before some others. But you couldn't wait to get your dig in
What has she been DOING that you believe demonstrates leadership? Anyone can give an interview and say some stuff.
She isn't in office, so other than giving interviews and showing up at protests, what do you expect?
Welp, if she has any hopes to run again, she maybe should get her ass on some planes and lobby Congress. She's an empty suit. My guess is she's probably focused on collecting fat speaking engagement checks.
Lobby Congress is your answer? She isn't changing the minds of GOP elected officials. I think you are being unrealistic.
Giving up in advance, and negotiating away any power you have. That’s her. She comes from a long line of losers who preceded her in having absolutely no honor or clue about how most people feel or live. It doesn’t matter to me anymore that she’s a WOC. If she wanted her role to just mean something symbolic without action, she should have married Prince Charles or one of his kids. We have been in this coma since the 90s. HRC is right now attending a real estate conference event in Riyadh with John Kerry, Tucker Carlson, Richard Branson, and Piers Morgan.
That is very on brand for Democrats. It's not a surprise that Hillary Clinton and John Kerry are choosing this time to rake in money in Riyadh. The Obamas too are absolutely shameless with their greed. There needs to be some serious generational change in the Democratic Party if they want to be viable going forward. There is absolutely no leadership coming from Schumer, Jeffries, Harris. The entire group of recent Democratic leaders needs to go.
This is kind of offside but the Obamas have made their millions as successful content creators, and they have been open that their days of public service as far as actually holding office or stumping directly for any cause are over. They don’t do a fan dance and say hey maybe I’ll take that role, at all. Harris and HRC kind of do, with their faux outrage, occasionally, in short and meaningless statements, which never lay out action. HRC can get money, I guess. Harris doing this coy “maybe” act about running is absolutely without dignity and demonstrates that uneasy feeling a LOT of people had about her, that she has no ideas or politics. People here freak the F out and demonize Mamdani but damn, he has politics. Meaning, he has read more than one paragraph about political economy and has stood ten toes down on what he thinks. It doesn’t make him perfect. It does make him a man who to his face called Trump a fascist within the past 6 weeks, who has affirmed his city’s sanctuary laws will apply when ICE turns its head like a snake and resumes attacks in NYC. We don’t need a hundred more of him. We need people who say they have ideas and principles, be willing to even articulate them.
