+1  The text about the closure was sufficient.  I'd rather see a video from Dr. Taylor explaining why MCPS has only 1 snow day built into the calendar despite several years in which we've had far more than 1 snow day.

If it is, it will be like last year with useless half days in June and Taylor sending out an email telling parents he understands if they choose not to send their kids because no real learning will occurs.   They should use some of the gazillion professional days and get some extra actual full days in teaching.  [/quote]
